Neighborhood Restoration seeks to expand the economic strength of the community so that crime and disorder will not thrive. Strategies focus on economic development, employment opportunities, improvements to housing, and the physical conditions of the neighborhoods.

  • Restore the community by increasing home ownership in targeted area.
  • To promote job opportunities for the residents in the target area.
Objectives
  • Increase the number of owner occupied single-family dwellings in targeted area by 8%
  • Increase the number of owner occupied multi-family dwellings by 3%
  • Increase the number of eligible purchasers for homeownership by 20%
  • Reduce the unemployment rate in the target area by 5%
  • Increase number of High School Graduates by 5%
  • Increase number of College Students by 5%
  • Increase Employment opportunities in target area by 10%
  • Increase Micro enterprises by 10%
