Prevention/Intervention/Treatment (P.I.T.) focuses on reducing criminal risks by promoting programming developed to address the needs of individuals of all ages.

Goals & Objectives

Goals
  • To create a safe and healthy community environment for target area residents through Safe Haven Activities.
  • To Improve the Quality of Life for Target Area Residents by Establishing Programs that enable them to take control of their lives by addressing substance abuse and violence issues.
Objectives
  • Increase target area resident involvement in current Safe Haven programming by 5%
  • Increase target area senior citizen involvement in existing day programming by 5%
  • Increase teen participation in existing programming by 5%
  • Increase total programming offered by 5%
  • Increase referrals made to outside programs by 15%
  • Increase participation of target area residents in programming offered by 10%
  • Increase partnerships with additional resource providers by 5%
  • Increase programming to fill gaps in unmet needs by 5%
  • Increase resident perception of opportunities available to them by 10%
